MUSEO DIFFUSO dei 5 Sensi
Piazza Libertà 2 Sciacca (AG) – Italy
(Medieval Bastion)
We are a "Museo Diffuso," which means that Sciacca itself is our open-air museum. Here, every element of the city, including its people with their stories, represents our priceless treasure, ready to be shared with anyone who comes to visit us.
The five gates of the ancient walls serve as entrances to the museum, the streets are the corridors, the squares are the exhibition halls, and the shop windows and house windows are the display cases through which we offer our greatest treasure: our identity.
Three thousand years of history, cultures, and traditions await discovery in the frieze of a palace, in the taste of a dish, in the timeless myths, and in the creations of master artisans. Lose yourself in the colors, aromas, and sounds that express our identity.
You are in an Open-Air Museum.
