We are a "Museo Diffuso," which means that Sciacca itself is our open-air museum. Here, every element of the city, including its people with their stories, represents our priceless treasure, ready to be shared with anyone who comes to visit us.

Does your family come from Sciacca?
If you have roots in Sciacca and would like to learn more about your family’s history, we can help you trace your ancestors through genealogical and documentary research in the local area. We can start with whatever information you have: a first name, a surname, a date, a document or even a memory passed down through your family.
And if you decide to come to Sciacca, the research can become an experience to live: discovering the places connected to your family’s history and rediscovering a personal connection with the city of your origins.
As a Community Cooperative and Host Community, we are also here to welcome you and help you discover the Sciacca of today, starting from the story that brought you here.
Do you have a name to start with? Let’s begin there.
